Dr. Jason Sheedy is a professor of business administration and a dedicated doctoral student mentor with years of teaching experience across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Specializing in designing and teaching business intelligence and data analytics courses, Dr. Sheedy is deeply committed to educating and guiding the next generation of business leaders.
Dr. Sheedy's academic journey began with marketing, finance, and economics degrees, followed by an MBA. He then pursued doctoral studies in applied management and decision sciences, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration specializing in International Business from Northcentral University. Driven by a sincere desire to learn and a passion for people, Dr. Sheedy expanded his education by studying applied organizational and industrial psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
As an international business consultant, Dr. Sheedy's experience encompasses working with various organizations, businesses, governments, and non-governmental organizations. His consulting work includes collaborating with top companies, small firms, non-governmental organizations, and governmental departments to develop strategic planning models, complete systems design and implementation plans, quality improvement projects, and operations assessments. Dr. Sheedy has been instrumental in helping numerous small businesses grow and develop, and he has previously served as a business investor.
Dr. Sheedy's passion for service extends beyond the business world, as demonstrated by his extensive volunteer work. He advocates for human rights and has worked with mentally and physically disabled adults. As a former Emergency Medical Technician, Dr. Sheedy volunteered in the emergency department of a Level 1 trauma center. He regularly builds houses with Habitat for Humanity in the United States and abroad. For over two decades, he has strongly supported The Carter Center's work to improve lives by resolving conflicts, advancing democracy, and preventing diseases.
Having traveled to over 85 countries, Dr. Sheedy is dedicated to improving the lives of others. His professional focus has transitioned from primarily supporting companies to teaching students how to succeed in business. His latest project reflects his desire to share his extensive knowledge and help others develop personally and professionally.
